Running Day
Sunday 29th September
11:00 to 16:00
If you are looking for a nice relaxing train journey with the chance to have a good look around our heritage railway then our Running Day is the event for you.
​
Relax with a snack or drink at our café and have a browse in our bookshop before heading over to the platform to catch a train.
​
Our classic Driver For a Fiver experience will also be available to try out at this event.

Trains of Terror
Sunday 27th October
11:00 to 16:00
This Halloween at the Fife Heritage Railway come and take a trip on our trains of terror.
​
Put on your scariest costumes and prepare your best jokes because we have lots of sweet treats to give away whilst onboard the haunted train carriage.
​
Trains will depart from 11:10 onwards from our main station platform. Our café, shop and kids play park will also be open to visitors at this event.
​
Our classic Driver For a Fiver experience will also be available to try out at this event.

Santa Express
Sat 7th & Sun 8th December
We have received a request from the North Pole to prepare our railway for a very special visitor.
​
Santa himself will be spending the weekend with us and he invites you to hop onboard one of his express trains. During these festive journeys you will be riding our Christmas themed train with decorations, music and of course presents.
Our café, shop and kids play park will also be open to visitors at this event.
​
The event will run from 11:00 until 16:00 on both the Saturday and the Sunday, the full train timetable will be available when we begin to advertise train tickets.
​
This event will require online booking which will go live on this website nearer the time.
