Volunteer at FHR

Fife Heritage Railway could not function without its dedicated band of volunteers.  

What do Volunteer Working Members do?
The jobs undertaken by volunteer working members are numerous.
From cleaning locos, driving locos, Guard, Station Master, Signalman, Picking up litter, Metal or wood work, running our Shop, Selling tickets, publicity, paining and decorating, weeding, gardening, grass cutting, track maintenance, servicing locos, servicing other site vehicles and the list goes on and on and on.


Skills needed:
We are looking for Volunteer Members with skills or none.

Training:
Training will be provided. 

Safety:
Every Working Member must undertake Trackside Safety Training to ensure every one is safe while working around moving track vehicles.
